Lodging info

Hey everyone! I wanted to give you a little info about the hotels that are available for the wedding. Both hotels will have blocks reserved for the 24th and 25th of October for up to a month before the wedding. The Holiday Inn Express is a bit pricier but is the newest hotel in Hastings. It was built late last year and we hear it is pretty nice inside with flat screens in each room. It is where I (Liesel) will be staying the night before the wedding. They informed me that a continental breakfast is offered with both hot and cold items. It is closest to our house and to the reception site, although not by much. Hastings is not very big after all! The Quality Hotel is the old Holiday Inn. It is an older hotel, but nice nonetheless. They may have more accomodations than Holiday Inn Express and are connected to a restaurant called The Garden Cafe. I hope that helps you make an informed decision. I do know that there is another wedding in town that weekend and being football season, there will be people traveling for Hastings College football games. It is my suggestion that you book early for the best selection. When you call, be sure to mention you are coming in for the Eastman/Hogan wedding and your room will be reserved under the block.
